Triad of Bronze diabetes mellitus

Bronze diabetes, caused due to Iron toxicity.
It's clinical features are :
1. Bronzing of skin
2. Cirrhosis
3. Insulinopenia or Type 1 Diabetes, as the beta cell mass decrease
These 3 feature are known as Bronze diabetes triad.

Hi! That is very interesting and ties into our question on haemochromatosis today. I did not know that haemochromatosis affecting pancreatic beta cells was called 'bronze diabetes'. Thanks for the upload.
